Japanese tea ceremony experience in Tokyo (3 hours)
On a hilltop in Tama city, a residential area of Tokyo, you will find a traditional Japanese tea house with a beautiful garden specially made for tea ceremonies. You will touch the heart of Zen thru the tea ceremony in the special place. You can learn the basic tea ceremony and get hands-on experience making your bowl of Matcha tea by yourself. The experience provides details and manners explained in Japanese and English.
Our guide will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or any preferred place, allowing you to relax and enjoy yourself like a local without the stress of complicated public transport.

Activity information
Pick up at your hotel and travel to the Japanese tea ceremony class with your guide. You will learn the tea ceremony and make a bowl of your very own Matcha tea. After drinking your deep green tea, you enjoy the Japanese tea ceremony lunch box at the Japanese tearoom.

- Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability
- Please wear suitable clothes to join a tea ceremony. (Long skirt or pants with white socks)
- Remove all accessories to avoid scratching pottery and tea utensils
- Minimum age is Seven
- This activity will have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 travelers

- Any changes made less than two 3 full days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted
